GOLF IS GOURMET: MEET THE CHEF BEHIND THE EVENING
Golf is Gourmet is officially on sale, and we're excited to share who's behind the menu for this year's exclusive culinary evening. Hosted in a private luxury villa at Diamante, the evening pairs a gourmet dinner with premium wines, craft cocktails, and the rare chance to mingle with PGA TOUR players in an intimate setting.

This year's dinner is crafted by Chef Juan Pablo Loza, a Mexican chef with more than three decades of experience in luxury hospitality, having led kitchens and developed culinary concepts for renowned international brands including Rosewood, Auberge, and Belmond. His cooking draws on the tradition of Mexican home cooks and the vibrant flavors of Mexico's streets, reinterpreted with a contemporary touch that elevates each dish to an international level of sophistication, while staying true to the origin of its ingredients and the culture it celebrates.

Chef Loza currently leads Señora Cocina, Casa & Cantina in Los Cabos, where he's built a reputation around tradition, community, and the art of sharing a table. For Golf is Gourmet, he'll bring that same philosophy to Diamante for one unforgettable night during tournament week.

Tickets are $375 per person, available Tuesday and Thursday of tournament week. Space is limited, so reserve your seat today.

MEXICAN QUALIFIER & MATCH PLAY: TWO EXEMPTIONS EARNED
Two Mexican players have earned their place in the WWT Championship field, and neither made it easy.

The first exemption went to Alejandro Madariaga, who put together a dominant showing at the Mexican Qualifier presented by National Car Rental. He opened with a 64 (-8) and finished at 7 under after an additional 9 holes, two strokes clear of Jose de Jesús Rodríguez, to claim his spot in the field.

The second exemption was decided at México Match Play, and it required several playoff holes. Federico Gutiérrez reached the final by winning a three-hole playoff in the semifinals. In the final, Jorge Villar also needed three extra holes, outlasting Federico Gutiérrez on the 21st hole to earn the second exemption.

Congratulations to all of this year's competitors on a hard-fought week, and to the champions who punched their ticket to tournament week at El Cardonal.

CHARITY SPOTLIGHT: LIGA MAC
Image
Founded in 1997, LIGA MAC is the oldest registered charity in San José del Cabo. The name reflects its roots: a League (LIGA) of Mexican, American, and Canadian (MAC) volunteers united by a shared commitment to improving the lives of those less fortunate in the community.

LIGA MAC is entirely volunteer-driven and receives no government funding; every program it runs is made possible through the generosity of donors. Its mission is to provide underprivileged students with the consistent financial, social, health, and mental well-being support they need to advance their education, build independence, and give back to their community.

At its Learning Center, LIGA MAC creates a safe, supportive, and inclusive space where students and families can thrive, keeping kids on the path to graduation, offering support in times of crisis, and instilling the values of community service in students and their families alike.
